Babe Ruth League, Inc. would like to personally
thank Banquet of Champions Guest Speakers
Scotty McGregor (13's) and George Foster
(14's) who both pulled "double-headers"
for our program by chatting it up at two
World Series banquets each in 2005. Thanks
again for a job well done!
Media coverage is about relating stories
that tell people what is going on around
them that is interesting, important or relevant
to their lives. It offers context and provides
details. It brings everyone in the world
together. Every one of our World Series
participants, who has put forth their best
efforts to make it to the final level of
the prestigious Babe Ruth tournament trail
deserve their "fifteen minutes in the
limelight". Their brief taste of fame
will contribute to a lifetime of special
memories to live forever in their hearts.
Therefore, I would like to sincerely thank
the various news media involved with each
World Series for their excellent coverage.
I am well into my World Series travel. Baseball
and softball at its best - who could ask
for anything more! I've witnessed nail-biting
competition, thrilling pitching duels, hot
bats, and amazing plays. Remember, in order
to keep up to date on the Babe Ruth World
Series, please visit http://www.brlworldseries.com. |
