A WELL DESERVED THANK-YOU!!
Babe Ruth League, Inc. was blessed to
have excellent leaders to serve as Host
Presidents of seven baseball World Series
and two softball World Series in 2005. Each
Host President, in his own way, managed
to put the right people in the right positions
ensuring Babe Ruth League, Inc. and its
baseball and softball players this August
nothing but excellent World Series. Even
though these gentlemen made their jobs look
easy, in reality there were many hard tasks
for which they were responsible. They supervised
every phase of the World Series. Final responsibility
of the Host President is to Babe Ruth League,
Inc. for all details necessary to make the
World Series a success.

Speaking of Presidents, I
want to also offer a special thanks to our
many League Presidents who made it possible
for so many of our baseball and softball
players to have an enjoyable experience
this past season. The nicest thing about
each League President, and I have spoken
to many, is that they are always quick to
say how fortunate they are to have so many
excellent volunteers within their league
to make it a success.
In fact, it is the help of our league presidents
and their many volunteers - particularly
managers and coaches - which allows achieve
our mission each year. The overriding mission
of Babe Ruth League, Inc. is to allow
every youngster who wants to play baseball
or softball the opportunity to participate
and have fun.
I do hope that many of our leagues are enjoying
an excellent fall baseball or softball program.
If your league does not have a fall ball
program, do not hesitate to contact your
League Service Representative at Headquarters
for details.
