Floyd Markham

Babe Ruth League President/CEO Ron Tellefsen said, "Floyd Markham served Babe Ruth League, Inc. for more than 45 years.  He probably held every position that could be held in Babe Ruth from the local league level to Board Member.  He was truly a dedicated volunteer and played a major role in the success of Babe Ruth Baseball on all levels of play."

Floyd Markham started in the Babe Ruth program in 1953 at the local league level.  He moved on to become the Oregon State Director, then the Pacific Northwest Regional Director to eventually a Board Member At-Large.

Chairman of the Board Bill Smith said, "I was sincerely blessed to have known Floyd for many years and to have worked with him on numerous endeavors to further Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball.  He was active in all phases of the Babe Ruth program.  He was very dedicated and gave much of his time to the betterment of the program.  In my opinion, he was the type of person that the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame is all about."
