1968  -  1972 Coach/Manager Nashua West Roofers 

1972 - President Nashua West Baseball Assoc. 10 Years instrumental in the complete renovation of Nashua West Facilities including new Electronic scoreboard, new state of the art field lighting system, new dugouts, a new field irrigation system, Concession Stand including press box and rest rooms. This set an example to other Organizations in the State of New Hampshire as to what can be done thru the Volunteer System as others throughout The City of Nashua and the State followed suit in improving their own facilities.

1981 - Nashua Parks and Recreation Service to Youth Award

1982 - Certificate of Appreciation from The City of Nashua for devotion to the City and its youth.

1982 - Appointed State Commissioner by Babe Ruth Baseball in their new Bambino Division to organize a New Hampshire Division (now known as the Cal Ripken Division of Babe Ruth Baseball)  This developed beyond our wildest dreams growing from the mere 3 Leagues in 1982 to the present 54 Leagues and over 21 Thousand Youngsters

1988 - Host President the Babe Ruth Bambino World Series at Holman Stadium.  With the help of the City of Nashua, Holman Stadium was reduced to the 60ft Bases and 200ft Outfield required by this Division

1989 - Exchange Club Book of Golden Deeds Award for Service to the Youth of The City of Nashua

1998 - Babe Ruth Baseball (Lefty Gomez) National Volunteer of the year Award

1998 to 2005 - Served as Tournament Director and Asst. for (6) Babe Ruth World Series in various States throughout the Country.

2008 - Inducted into the New England Babe Ruth Hall of Fame for 40 years of service to Youth and the development of Cal Ripken Baseball in New England

2011 -  Elected as the First inductee into the New Hampshire Babe Ruth Hall of Fame

2012 -  April 22, The Mayor of the City  of Nashua and the Aldermanic Board Re-Dedicated the Baseball Facility at North Seventh Street and renamed it as the "Fred Lajoie Field".

2012 -  Sept. 19th Invited guest of the Boston Red Sox as a special thank you for his 40 Years of service to the youth of New Hampshire and New England.

2014 - Inducted into the Nashua NH "Holman Stadium Sports Legends"  Hall of Fame.
