Bob Dickson

BRL President/CEO Steven Tellefsen said, "Bob Dickson has been involved with our program for over 51 years.  The value of his contributions are immeasurable, his character unsullied, and his merit without question.  It is a proud moment to have a person of his caliber inducted into the Hall of Fame."

Bob Dickson started in the Babe Ruth program as a League President in 1959.  After four years he went on to serve in the District, Area and Assistant Regional Commissioner positions.  For the past 32 years, Dickson has served as a member of the Babe Ruth Board of Directors.  He served as Ohio Valley Regional Commissioner for the first 27 years of his term and has since served as an At-Large member.  As a Board Member, Dickson has served and chaired several BRL committees including, rules, constitution and by-laws, finance, planning, audit and executive.  In addition, he has worked as a volunteer at numerous Babe Ruth World Series as a World Series Director or as a member of the Task Force.

Bob Dickson retired from the Alexandria Community Schools in 1992 after 34 years of employment.  An inductee into the Indiana Babe Ruth Hall of Fame, in 2011 he was also honored by being named an Indiana "Sagamore of the Wabash". 

Bob Dickson joins more than 200 individuals and organization who have earned the distinction of being inducted into the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame.
