Hawaii Kai Baseball League Opening Day

On the opening day of the Hawaii Kai Baseball Babe Ruth League, the head football coach for the University of Hawaii, Timmy Chang, came out to give an inspiring speech to the players, coaches, and parents in attendance. Coach Chang, who has a long history of playing and coaching sports in Hawaii, was excited to share his passion for athletics and motivate the young players.

As Coach Chang took the stage, the energy in the room was palpable. The players were excited to start the season and the parents were there to support them every step of the way. Coach Chang wasted no time in getting down to business, as he began his speech with a powerful statement about the importance of sports in the lives of young people.

“If you want to be the best like some of the people from Hawaii that have gone on to be greats, you have got to have elite mindset, you got to work hard, you got to get good grades, you got to do the right things, you got to make the right choices. But most of all HAVE FUN”.

The players and parents were moved by Coach Chang's words, and his message of hope and inspiration was exactly what they needed to hear on this opening day of the season. As the players took to the field, they did so with renewed confidence and determination. They were ready to give it their all and make their coach proud.

Coach Chang's speech was a shining example of the power of sports to unite people and inspire them to be their best. His words will no doubt stay with the players and parents for years to come, as they continue to work hard and chase their dreams both on and off the field.
