Babe Ruth League Alumni Association Privacy Statement

We aim to protect the privacy of our participants, volunteers, alumni, supporters, friends, and fans.

Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Act, we will never knowingly request personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without the verifiable consent of their parents/guardians.

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) is a US law that gives parents control over what information websites can collect from their children under 13, requiring operators to obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information and providing parents with access and control over that information.  On January 16, 2025, the Federal Trade Commission finalized amendments to the COPPA Rule, which relate to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information about children under the age of 13.  For further information, please visit https://www.ftc.gov/legal-library/browse/rules/childrens-online-privacy-protection-rule-coppa.
