George Wyse

George Wyse was the Park Department Director for King County, Washington.

     According to Richard Case, President Babe Ruth Baseball, "George was selected for induction to the Hall of Fame because of his many contributions through dedication and devotion to the success and furtherance of the aims and purposes of Babe Ruth Baseball".

     During his 12 years as a member of the Board of Directors of Babe Ruth Baseball, he also served as President of the International Group.  Long active in the State of Washington Babe Ruth organization, he served as State Director from 1955 to 1966 and was the Pacific Northwest Regional Director for Babe Ruth Baseball for two years.

     George Wyse was inducted into the Babe Ruth Hall of Fame in 1975.
